White House Denies Censorship Despite Alleged Mountains Of Proof

Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, began making public corporate documents that showed what was going on in the organization prior to the 2020 election and throughout his administration.

Conservatives claim the data demonstrates President Joe Biden’s efforts to limit what individuals and organizations could post on the social media platform. The charges are still refuted by the White House.

On December 9, Karine Jean-Pierre, the press secretary for the White House, told the media that the government was not involved in the selection of Twitter’s content moderators. She insisted they were unrelated. Jim Baker, the former FBI general counsel who worked for the business, was never contacted, according to her.

The decision by Twitter to bury the Hunter Biden story before the 2020 election was described in the first batch of the Twitter files. The second talked about blacklisting within the business.

None of the records indicated any engagement on the part of the government in either situation. The White House, CDC, and Twitter had some communication regarding online misinformation during the pandemic, according to the Washington Examiner, but it is unclear whether this communication resulted in any actual censorship. This information was revealed in a lawsuit brought by the New Civil Liberties Alliance (NCLA).
