Former Vice President Mike Pence expressed his confidence on Sunday during his appearance on CBS’s “Face The Nation,” stating that he believed Donald Trump would not secure the Republican nomination.
“I remain confident, more confident after Wednesday night that the Republican nominee will not be the former President.”
In the previous month, Tucker Carlson conducted an interview featuring Mike Pence and several other Republican contenders. In a brief period, Carlson effectively derailed the former Vice President’s political career by highlighting his lack of concern for domestic issues, favoring Ukraine instead. Notably, Tucker Carlson organized the inaugural presidential forum for the Republican primaries in Iowa in collaboration with Blaze Media.
Tucker Carlson conducted interviews with a panel of five candidates: Tim Scott, Nikki Haley, Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Mike Pence.
Pence’s identification as a globalist RINO became evident immediately during the interviews.
In just one minute, Tucker Carlson effectively brought Mike Pence’s political career to an end.
“You’re running for President. You are distressed that Ukrainians don’t have enough American tanks? EVERY city in the U.S. has become much worse over the past three years and it’s VISIBLE. Our economy has degraded suicide rate has jumped crime has exponentially increased and yet your concern is that the Ukrainians – country that most people can’t find on a map who’ve received tens of billions of US tax dollars don’t have enough tanks! I think it’s a fair question to ask, where’s the concern for the United States?” Tucker stated.
Pence answered, “That’s not my concern. Tucker, I’ve heard that routine from you before but that’s not my concern!”
In the meantime, there has been a steady increase in Trump’s polling figures.
A recent survey conducted following the debate last week indicates that Trump is decisively leading against Florida’s Ron DeSantis with a margin of 61-9, and he is also ahead of Joe Biden by 44-41 in a potential general election matchup.
