The White House is remaining tight-lipped about Joe Biden’s brief visit to his Delaware home on Friday night.

Is there a connection between Biden’s unexplained trip and the stolen confidential information scandal? Was there a medical emergency?
On Monday, Ian Sams, a spokesman for Joe Biden in the wake of the incident, claimed that Biden had met with Special Counsel Robert Hur for two days, on Sunday and Monday, to discuss his handling of stolen secret documents.
“The President has been interviewed as part of the investigation being led by Special Counsel Robert Hur. The voluntary interview was conducted at the White House over two days, Sunday and Monday, and concluded Monday. As we have said from the beginning, the President and the White House are cooperating with this investigation, and as it has been appropriate, we have provided relevant updates publicly, being as transparent as we can consistent with protecting and preserving the integrity of the investigation. We would refer other questions to the Justice Department at this time,” a statement from Ian Sams read.
Five White House staff members were implicated in Biden’s stolen confidential information case, as disclosed this week by the House Oversight Committee.
