Alvin Bragg Goes After Melania Trump – Gets Shut Down By New York Judge

Published on

Alvin Bragg’s case against former President Donald Trump appears to be weak and politically motivated, prompting some Democrats to suggest delaying it until the more substantial cases against Trump are processed.

However, Bragg, like several other Democratic District Attorneys, is known for being lenient towards criminals, leading to concerns about the lack of consequences for their actions in the streets. Bragg might be eager to make the Trump case successful so he can use it as a cornerstone for his next election campaign and avoid seeking alternative employment, especially since the political climate in these cities seems to be changing.

Last week, the NAACP strongly criticized and urged them to declare a state of emergency in order to address the escalating crime rates in a particular Democratic-controlled city.

“Oakland residents are sick and tired of our intolerable public safety crisis that overwhelmingly impacts minority communities. Murders, shootings, violent armed robberies, home invasions, car break-ins, sideshows, and highway shootouts have become a pervasive fixture of life in Oakland. We call on all elected leaders to unite and declare a state of emergency and bring together massive resources to address our public safety crisis. African Americans are disproportionately hit the hardest by crime in East Oakland and other parts of the city.”

According to the NAACP, residents from various areas of the city have expressed feeling unsafe due to the alarming crime situation. Disturbingly, women are being targeted by young mobs and brutally attacked and robbed in both downtown and uptown neighborhoods. Asians are facing assaults in Chinatown, while street vendors in Fruitvale are being robbed. The situation has become so dire that news crews reporting on crime have had their cameras stolen, and even PG&E workers are now being targeted and need private security while they work. Overall, the situation has put everyone in the city at risk.

Since Alvin Bragg’s record is not favorable for his election campaign, he is making desperate attempts to target former First Lady Melania Trump by issuing subpoenas for her emails. However, a New York judge, Juan Merchan, intervened and rejected Bragg’s attempts. The judge ruled in favor of Melania Trump, stating that the subpoenas were excessively broad and therefore blocked their execution.
