Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton Files Lawsuit Against Biden Regime for Cutting Razor Wire at the Southern Border

Border patrol agents under President Biden’s administration are reportedly removing a razor wire fence located on private property along the southern border, a move criticized for potentially enabling unauthorized immigrants to enter the United States, thereby raising concerns for the safety of American citizens.

In response to this situation, Governor Greg Abbott, a member of the Republican Party, has taken measures to send personnel and resources to the border in an attempt to address the influx of unauthorized immigrants allowed into the country by the Biden administration.

A different video captures a border patrol agent sharing a congratulatory fist bump with unauthorized immigrants shortly after they successfully breached the border wire put in place by Governor Greg Abbott.

Footage acquired by Fox News journalist Bill Melugin reveals a scene where over a dozen men, women, children, and infants are observed gaining access through the breached razor wire fence with the assistance of the agent. Furthermore, a human smuggler, commonly referred to as a “coyote,” is seen reversing his fan motorboat after offloading his group of individuals and then proceeding unimpeded back to Mexico.

According to Melugin’s report, the Texas Department of Public Safety stated that they had obtained authorization from the landowner to install the razor wire fencing on their land.

Federal authorities have raised concerns regarding the possible infiltration of individuals associated with Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), and Hezbollah through the southern border. This information is outlined in an internal memorandum dated October 20. The San Diego Field Office Intelligence Division of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) issued this memo as a warning about the potential encounters with members connected to these terrorist organizations along the U.S. southern border.

The memo stated, “San Diego Field Office Intelligence Unit assesses that individuals inspired by, or reacting to the current Israel-Hamas conflict may attempt travel to or from the area of hostilities in the Middle East via circuitous transit across the Southwest border. Foreign fighters motivated by ideology or mercenary soldiers of fortune may attempt to obfuscate travel to or from the US to or from countries in the Middle East through Mexico.”

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has taken a significant measure to protect the state’s border by initiating a legal action against the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) under the Biden Administration. This lawsuit, filed on Tuesday, targets not only DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas but also several federal agencies and officials. It revolves around a contentious federal practice, which involves the systematic removal of the concertina wire placed along Texas’s border with Mexico to discourage unauthorized immigration.

Federal agents have faced allegations that go beyond the removal of concertina wire; they have been accused of actively assisting thousands of undocumented individuals in their unauthorized passage across the Rio Grande and into Texas. In certain cases, these agents have gone to great lengths by affixing ropes or cables to vehicles, essentially constructing improvised routes up the riverbank into Texas. Additionally, these agents have been cutting fresh openings in the wire fence, sometimes right after Texas authorities have repaired earlier breaches.
